Our Stress Management workshop is about managing both the external sources of stress and the internal sources of stress, the stressors. Both are important and neither can be neglected in stress management training or practice.

For example, two individuals working in the same job, with the same people, the same workloads, and deadlines...yet one individual is stressed out and the other is not. Stress affects us all in different ways.  Understanding how your stressors affect you is key to stress management.

Our stress management workshop program provides an overview of the types of stress, warning signs that stress might be building up over time, and the particular risk factors that can make this dangerous. We give equal attention to managing the external and internal sources of stress. Both are important and neither can be neglected in stress management training or practice.

"I attended Ximena’s stress management workshop. As you know, stress can affect your body. My experience of working with her is that she can help you if you feel pain in your body as you release stress and her energy work is immediate and permanent whether it is physical or emotional pain. For example, after being asked to scan our bodies and see if we were holding any tension, I noticed not just tightness but also a spot of pain in my shoulders that has been there for a long time but I had just lumped it with the tightness of the muscles. During the 1 hour session, this sharper point of pain kept going but then coming back. When I expressed this she asked me if I was holding something for someone else. I was open to that as a possibility but couldn’t think of anyone specifically. She asked if I was willing to stop carrying someone else’s burden – to which I immediately said ‘yes’.
